This year NAW’s theme is “Registered Apprenticeship: Superhighway to Good Jobs,” to reflect the prominence that Registered Apprenticeship has received as a proven and industry-driven training model that expedites the pathway into good jobs and improves diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in the workplace. 

NAW 2023 is already off to a great start. Employers, educators, labor unions, elected officials, community-based organizations, and other partners across the country are hosting over 1,230 events and have signed over 370 proclamations, surpassing our goals and making this a historic record-breaking year!  They are hosting all types of events including open houses, industry roundtables, apprentice graduations, career and trade fairs, and panel discussions with an emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in apprenticeship opportunities.   

There are several ways for you to still get involved in NAW 2023:  

• Issue a proclamation that celebrates Registered Apprenticeship 

• Submit an event – it’s not too late! 

• Use your social media to promote National Apprenticeship Week using the official hashtag #NAW2023  

• Participate in one or more NAW 2023 events in your community, industry, or field of interest.  Click HERE to Find an event near you!
